How do colleges record and maintain an accurate list of scores sent to them? My son has sent scores from both the ACT and SAT (2x each) to several schools. We were wondering how the schools match up the scores from what is probably a large number of records with the actual applicants that eventually send in applications.
Thanks

By name and social security number.
Unless your child puts down a different name and social security number for different test sittings.
As my S did. lol.
Each time you send the SAt, the CB sends EVERY SAT test score your D has accumulated.

You also have to remember to put down the same social security number/ birthdate/ social security number for AP exams. Oops. I had two different files for different years because I must have forgotten a part or misbubbled something and had to call them later in order for them to merge the two files into one.
