How can we find out what schools are coming to visit our area this fall?
Will a school's website have this info?

I know my school does. It should be listed as University Liasons

GC's office at the high school will usually get flyers or other notification of upcoming roadshows by the various colleges.

If you go to the websites of the schools your son is interested in, he can sign up to receive their app and viewbook. Then, if they are organized (a big "if"), they will start automatically mailing him stuff, including notices of when an adcom will be in your area (might be at your school or a neighboring one). Another approach is to go to the college's website, click on "Admissions," and look for a link to something like, "ABC College Comes to Your Town." They will post a schedule of all adcom visits there. Your own school's guidance office will tell you of visits to your school, but some of the info sessions are really intended for students in many neighboring schools.

There are also the tours sponsored by NACAC (www.nacac.com) and Colleges That Change Lives (www.ctcl.com) that go to many cities.

Most admissions page web sites list contact information for admissions reps who handle different regions. Get the name and just email them asking when/if they'll be in your area. Not only does it answer your question, but it establishes a line of communication that might be handy later on in the admissions process. They might add your child's school to their visit list knowing that there's at least some interest as well.
