IveEcon,
First off congrats!!! Getting into Wharton is an accomplishment. This thread has stopped because no one is applying to internships so early for the next summer. Currently, I am just going through articles about business, reading the news, and compliling a list of all the financial institutions one can find in NYC. After I am ready to ask around for the internships I will just start to mass email all those institutions. That way it will make it easier for me to apply and keep this process organized. Hopefully, I will start in January-February 2005. This thred will probably be started again in that time. However, if anyone else has any comments or suggestions they are very welcome in this thread.

Yes Mahras has it right, we've talked about all that we can for the time being (unless someone can start up a discussion, which would be good).
Congrats on Wharton! Currently I'm trying to find all the alumi I can to try to ask them about I-banking and stuff. Hopefully you will have an easier time at Wharton doing that, for obvious reasons.

I am really excited about Wharton. Def. hope to intern at an IBank next summer. I am also going to start applying early in 2005 so that I have sufficient time to do follow-ups, interviews, etc..
