I just got a call from NASA Sharp and had an interview. I wasn't ready for it at all! (I didn't even know that they gave phone interviews). Do you guys know how much the interview counts? and how many people get selected to be interviewed (I'm sure it's quite a lot because my stats aren't spectacular by any means)? Thanks!

Congratulations on getting an interview!
I assume that only finalists are interviewed.
What kind of questions did they ask and what kind of person interviewed you? A scientist?

Hey I have just receved the rejection letter from NASA SHARP. I did not have any interview. Here is my stat:
Junor
GPA = 4.4
SAT 1 = 1380(780M,600V,8th gr), 1560(780M,780V, 10th gr)
PSAT = 227(80M,73,74,10th gr), 227 (80M,72, 75, 11th gr)
AP Cal AB = 5
Sat II C = 800
Courses this year = AP Physics, AP Bio, AP US Hist, AP Cal BC
MathCounts(8th gr): Chapter 1St, State 6 th.
USAMO: AMC12(84 8th gr, 100.5 9th gr, 126.5 10 th gr); AIME (2, 9th gr; 7, 10 th gr)

Athlonmi, thanks for your respond. I checked your stats. they are good. you did two AP in sop. the fact that you have scored a 5 in AP Comp in sop may have made you more selectable. have fun.
