Thedad- We have gotten several letters from Ivy West for test prep. Do you have any knowledge regarding this company. It appears they are out of Marina Del Rey.

Same advice as for all test prep companies: Caveat Emptor.
If you are interested, you should check ALL the free material they offer, and ask for two items:
1. The right to attend a regular class, free of charge
2. Existing references of students who took the classes in 2003.
Despite the claims to privacy, any bona-fide company should not have a problem providing you with verifiable references.

My daughter also gave me some info about IvyWest so I'm curious. Xiggi has some good suggestions but these are private tutoring sessions so it would be hard to attend a sample class. However, it might be a good idea to read their fine print about refunds very carefully. Thanks for the idea Xiggi.
