I hope that better-informed visitors to this site may provide some hints for the US uncle who is posting here for the first time.
Around five years ago, my nephew from Australia graduated with combined bachelor degrees in economics and law at an Australian university; eventually, he entered the employ of a foreign company in the US. Yet, he finds the work in the financial sector increasingly jejune and tedious.
He is contemplating returning to college, in the US, and retraining in another discipline; I agree that it would benefit him to actually receive formal credit for his enthusiasm for English and American literature—the reigning ardor for most of his life, which I think he should have followed when he first started university education.
Initially, he considered applying for Master of Liberal Arts programs at extension schools, but I doubt that the MLA would furnish the rigorous preparation that is needed for the graduate studies in English he hopes to ultimately undertake.
We’re now turning our attention to second bachelor’s programs. Using search engines and visiting the sites of individual schools have helped locate several universities (U Michigan, U Washington) that do award second bachelor’s degrees, but is any comprehensive list available?
My nephew has done much of this research himself, but he needs someone to occasionally fill in the gaps. Please share any experiences and knowledge you might have regarding second bachelor’s choice/application/admission/study.
Are there other worthwhile options in adult education we’ve overlooked?

Welcome, TheodoreW. I've not seen a list like that, but maybe another way to look at it is to identify some colleges of interest and ask them how they would accommodate your nephew's needs.
