I think I have a shot at 36, but 35 at least. Tuesday at 6AM will tell.

M'not getting my scores until they arrive in the mail. The reason is that I'm depending on these scores, and I can postpone the inevitable by waiting for the mail. :P

Expecting 33 at very best, probably somewhere around 28.

I *think* that I remember reading *somewhere* that scores are put on at 8AM.

6 would be much better for me.

I'm expecting 30-34.

hey you ACT takers, how does the ACT compare to the SAT (if you have taken it before)? Is it relatively easy to study for?

actual scores:
ACT Composite 30
English 28
Mathematics 30
Reading 33
Science Reasoning 28

Grrr. My science reasoning score went from 32 to 28. Other than that, I improved in all, just a bit. Old Scores:

ACT Composite 30
English 27
Mathematics 27
Reading 32
Science Reasoning 32

Third test coming up tomorrow!!!

Thought I'd get a 33 or so, got a 32, oh well.

By Holdenesquealex (Holdenesquealex) on Tuesday, April 22, 2003 - 07:41 pm: Edit

Composite 33
English 34
Math 34
Reading 35
Science 30

I was hoping for better, but this will do I guess. At least I improved my english and math scores a lot (up from 30 and 29), since they're weighted more for certain scholarships

What do you think my math score on the April SAT will be if I skipped 5 and didn't miss any?
I got a 740 on the January SAT and I missed 2 and skipped 1. :(

By Rowan (Rowan) on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 - 10:07 pm: Edit

I gave in. Couldn't resist not knowing and having the ability to find out. :P

Self-projected range: 28-33
Actual Composite: 32

English: 34
Mathematics: 28 (was expecting that one - blah!)
Reading: 36 (that was a surprise!)
Science Reasoning: 28 (that was a surprise, too...)

Did anyone get over a 32 on the science reasoning? O_O Sheesh. Seems like it was difficult. I'm planning to retake the ACT in the early fall -- now that I know what to expect and all. Not too shabby for a first time, I think. I'm content. :)

I didnt think it was that difficult.....yet i got a 30, math and science are my two strong subjects too.....Oh yea the breakdown:

29 eng, 34 read, 33 math, 30 sci

pisses me off because i should have a 36 in math, and at least like a 34 in sci, and that would almost put me up to a 35 composite

By Smith (Smith) on Thursday, April 24, 2003 - 06:36 pm: Edit

I don't think you should have a 36 math score if you think the mean of 29, 34, 34, 36 is 35!! You would have a 33 composite.

I'm just joking with you... I think that 28 and above is a very respectable score.

Compopsite: 33
English: 33
Math: 31
Reading: 33
Science: 36

By Smith (Smith) on Thursday, April 24, 2003 - 06:40 pm: Edit

Reading: 31 (not 33)
