argh- i just remembered!
Today, I was rushing for time and I should have left my answer sheet well alone outside of bubbling answers, but next to the 20-smth q I drew a light arrow reminding myself to come back.
I can't remember whether i erased it...I probably did, but I can't be sure.
what exactly will it do? It's quite light.
what should I do at this point?

LOL... well, yz16, if it's really light then the machine won't prolly recognize the mark b/c they usually tell you to fill the ovals dark enough that you can't see the letters in it... but I don't know if it applies to SAT tests... maybe collegeboard uses ultra-sensitive scoring machines...
so, your best bet is to pray
or you can phone them if it really bothers you

I draw faint dots and o's all over the answer sheet (outside the bubbles) and it's never affected the scoring of my tests. I dont see why a light arrow wouldn't yours. I'd only be worries if you put the arrow in an oval.

thank you cognito.
yes, i recall now that whether or not it was erased, it really was quite light.
i'll pray anyway. just to make genie happy.

yea i've done it too in fact i did it today too I don't think it affects it.
however, I did erase really hard and a lot of red came up on my eraser and the sheet was really erased for like two qustions...i hope this doesn't affect it?

okay, if i filled my ovals well yet still had faint marks from where i erased an oval, will ETS be able to differentiate from the 2?

I wouldn't be worried about that as much as big smudge marks. Stupid eraser ....

You can always ask them to handscore it for a fee if you are expecting like a 700+ and end up with 450.

how much is it??
has anyone ever had the same problem (smudges) and still got their expected score?
