By Vtran31 (Vtran31) on Friday, October 08, 2004 - 01:02 am: Edit

ok I took my 11 or 12 practice SAT. and guess what? it was LOWER than my very first one. 40 bloody points lower. I was so tired I made the most idiotic mistakes. plus I hate geogrpahy passages and there was one. Gah I don't know what i sohuld do . I could take another practice test, but that may deprive me of sleep , whihc will lowe rmy score. plus there were A LOT of questions that I disagree with them on. like 4 or 5. does anyone know the website with solutions for the 10 Real SAT's? I have the 3rd edition and I need the explanations for the january 2002 edition.
same with the practice SAT booklet for this year( the one you get from the counselor's office). and I took a SAT II writing practice test and I disagreed with a couple of those answers.

sorry I am rambling. I just finished that 2 and a hlaf hour practice test, I am mad at my grade, and I am very tired.

anyone offer any help? like Friday cuz my test is saturday?

ARGGG!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. is it againsted the rules to say pissed? if it is, sorry.

well it is 130 points below my highest. about 100 below my average. and I think colleges care about that much of a fluxuation. could be wrong, but the pessimist in me is coming out

going to sleep for the night. I know i sound kinda anal, but I spent close to 40 hours preparing for this. I don't want it to go to waste and I don't want this test to penalize me in the admission's process.

good night everyone

Yes, it's much better to sleep and regain some energy before taking another practice. Maybe you're too tired. Don't work your brain too hard. Early in the morning tomorrow, take another practice test and see if you score better. Then relax for the rest of the day. Whether you score better or not, remember that practice tests certainly aren't the most accurate predictors of your real test. Different factors can affect the outcome -- were you distracted? Were you just tired? Did you sit at a desk when you were taking your test? Don't worry too much about it. When you take the real test, it will (obviously) seem more "real" and you will be more focused.
