Are you allowed to load programs onto your ti-83 for the sat? I want to load 3 or 4 programs that will essentially turn my ti-83 into a ti-89 (lcm, gcm, factoring, etc). So do they check your calculator for programs and are they allowed?

yes when you check in they make you delete all your mem and they take your calc and give you 4 function calcs becasue you cant use graphing calcs on the test so dont put the programs on your calc, lol most of the stuff you are asking to do can be done on the Y= graph part so you dont really need any programs to do it on

So your saying programs dont do anything or the test center doesnt do anything about you using a ti-83?

you are allowed to use any calculator on the SAT test as long as it doesn't have a QWERTY keypad, make noise, have a angled screen, or have a print.
