I'm sorta at conflicts with this now. I wanna ge tthat national merit thing. I will eventually buy it. but if I do now i will pay a lot more. around 20 dollars if it ships in 7 or 8 days( the test is in like 9 days). i think like 30 dollars altogther to get it in 3 or 4. lol I sound like a doofus.

Get the new PSAT book for the PSAT, not an SAT book. PR has their new PSAT book out - it was on the shelf at the bookstore, right next to the new SAT one.

Our school is recommending using the new CB SAT book to prepare for PSAT. The math on the PSAT still only covers Geometry and Algebra I so the math in the new book will be a little more advanced, the verbal part will be the same on PSAT and SAT, and so will the writing (except there is no essay on PSAT). So, it makes sense that this new book would be useful. I agree with only using the CB book for this test.

i'm using a mix of sat/psat, but i'm mainly just reviewing math since it could stop me from national merit, on the practice psat thing we got from school, i got a 218 index, 78cr, 66m, and 74w, so my obvious weakness is math, so i'm not actually taking tests, just sections

I think the new short passages may through me off (just cause i am not used to the format). THe math maybe and the writing I want to get enough practice for. The tes tis in a week. I relaly don't know if i should orde rthe book or not( I'd either pay a buncha cash to get it here easrly or get it a day or 2 b4 the test).

College board... buncha money grubbers.
