Will it... because I can do sooo good on it (~1500)
i wish it would still be applicable cuz i hear
the new SAT is like the ACT which I suck at (~26)
of course i haven't practice for ACT..
are colleges like UCB and Stanford accepting it for juniors/ Class of '06?

To my knowledge, no.
The current old SAT will be valid only for this year's graduating class (ie. the class of 2005).
For 2006 and my class - 2007 - we need the new SAT.

I think most colleges are letting '06 use the old or the new. I don't know of any that won't. I know for a fact that Standord will.
I think '07 will have to take the new one for just about all schools.

it depends which college you apply. ask your guidance councler which colleges are accepting both. I know that Harvard (and i want to say that Yale and Princeton)are only taking the new SAT for class of '06. I still would check with the guidance councelers

How about for the Class of '05? i am asking for some senior friends.... for certain colleges like UCs isn't the new SAT req'd??? or no....?

No, class of '05 can still take the old SAT. It's the last group that can without a problem.

Class of 05 can submit only the old SAT -- first new one won't be given until next spring, too late for an admission consideration for 2005. As to acceptance of old one for 2006, you need to check with each college to which you will be applying (information should be at college's on-line site)but many (particularly many of your top schools) are now saying that new one must be submitted.
