hey -- i took the bio sat II (m) as a freshman and received my score of 700 at the beginning of last month. None of my friends decided to take it, so i have no basis of comparison, and i dont really kno if this is an OK score or not. Can someone enlighten me?? Should i re-take??

From everything I've seen on the forums, you should shoot for a score of 750 or thereabouts. 700 is pretty good for a first try, but if you prep a bit more and retake, you could probably hit that 750. The Princeton Review has a really good SAT II biology prep book that's worth a look. Your local library or book store might not have it, but I'm sure it's at Amazon.

700+ is good for the ivies, but as I am sure you know, lots of people have the same or more. Where are you thinking of applying ? The whole application process is bit of a lottery. What are your EC's like? Is biology what you hope to major in?

i don't really kno exactly what i will be majoring in or where i will be applying to, seeing as though i'm just barely a sophmore. If i do decide to major in something science related, which i just might do, i'm pretty certain i will take the test again, especially if i take AP Bio later on.
