It's coming in less than two weeks....Do I still have a chance of studying my butt off and doing really well? Really well, enough to make the NMSF or semifinalist cutoff (I live in CA)? I'm worried...

I'm curious too...what does everyone else think? Will the cutoffs go lower or higher depending on the new SAT?
I would be deliriously happy if CA's cutoff went from a mere 215 to a mere 210...

Miserables, do two or three practice tests and study what you get wrong.
Kyip, I would say a 5 point decrease is unlikely, especially considering writing is already a part of the PSAT.

yep, cutoffs will probably stay about the same, which is why i'm working my butt off on math, in critical reading and writing i score very high (low-mid 70s) but math it's low-mid 60s, and even if i don't get national merit, becuase i'm black i have a good chance of qualifying for national achievment
