Were they i scored much higher on the 2002 practice test ~(1400s) then on the old ones (~1300s) does this trend continue down to 2004 so maybe i get higher on the real thing?

thanks cuz i will be pissed off if i get under 1400 its a waste of $$!! ... then i can see how much i need to study ... either way I HAVE to study cuz my goals a 1500... but i wanna be sure i'll at least get a 1400

Well, if you took them chronologically, it makes sense that you'd do better on the more recent ones, since you'd have had more practice by then. The last test you took should be the best barometer for how you'll do.

But to answer the question, whether or not they get easier or harder is irrelevant, because it's going to be scaled out to roughly the same thing anyway.

No no no.... i took the new ones first cuz i wanted a better idea of my score (more recent = more close to the real one right?) anyways so later on I go back about 2 weeks before test and do the old SATs the 1995-2000 and i do really bad like 1300! and my goal was to have 1500! i don't get it mid sophomore year i was getting pretty good scores.... even 5 weeks before the test I did a 2002 one and i got 1410 (not great but okay) any ways now when i do the 1995-2000 i get bad scores!

BTW its not whether they're harder or easier its what the final score is scaled out to! the old ones it gets scaled out to like 1300 while on the new ones the scaled score is about 1400!
