I am horrible at the writing skills section on the PSAT. I was wondering if anyone could tell me on ways to prepare for this section and improve my score.

In my opinion, you should just go through a test prep book for the PSAT Writing (e.g. Princeton Review or Kaplan). I prepared for the PSAT Writing by working through a test prep book. To prepare for the PSAT Writing, you have to memorize a specialized set of grammar rules that you can find in those test prep books.

Gandhi is right, but I also think that reading a lot (for example a well-written newspaper every morning) will help immensely, as many of the questions I answered purely based on what "felt right." (Of course this won't make the slightest difference if you read for 4 hours the day before the test.)
