I opted out to take the test during middle school, and this May will be my first time taking it (I am currently a sophomore), if I were to do bad this May, and decide to take it again, will the colleges see the May test?
I've heard conflicting information, and I want the record set straight.
Thanks.

Depends on the school. Some schools look at ALL the tests and scores, some just take the best of each. I'd speak w/your guidance counselor and maybe even the school you'll be applying to...

Current rule followed by the College Board which administers the test is to send all SAT scores to any school you designate to send a score, and you cannot prevent it from doing so by trying to choose just the better score. Thus, a test taken now will be sent to a college with one taken later. However, most colleges will consider only your highest score.
