I have already signed up to take the SAT I in April, but I need to decide which SAT II's to take and when.
For the May test, I am most likely going to take the Biology and Physics tests because I will be taking the AP tests for those just a week after that and I will already be studying for them diligently.
I wish to apply to MIT and they require that applicants take one science, one math, and one humanities test. So, I will also take the writing test in May also.
As for the June test, I propose taking Math IIc and I am pretty sure I can get 800 on it. Writing, however, is not one of my strong points, so I am thinking that it would be beneficial to take the writing test in June as well in the event that I dont perform well on the May writing test. I would also like to take the Literature test in June in the event that both of my writing tests are not as good as I had hoped.
In regards to my SAT I, I took it once, in January, and got a 760 in Math, and 680 in Verbal. I have been studying and hope to break 1500 on the April test.
Now, my real predicament comes when I need to know whether or not to take the SAT I again, in June, for example. If I do this, I can take my SAT II's only once, but have no buffer zone at all. Or I can take the SAT I again in October and have it in time for early action for MIT.
What do you guys think of this? Any suggestions?
