I am a Junior this year and I took the SAT in december and am not happy with my score. I was wondering if it would be better for me to take my SAT I in october after a summer course and take my SAT II's in may and june?

If you are better prepared for the SAT IIs more so than the SAT I right now, I'd take the IIs this yr and the I in Oct/Nov. Just my opinion

thanks..and also wut your opinion on taking the Ic over the IIc. i am in Pre-Calculus right now. And do you have an opinion on which SAT II subject test to take. i am in Biology AP and US History AP and have A's in both classes, but don't feel confident becuase the classes are easy. Which one do you think would be better?

Sorry, I'm really not the right person to be asking (I'm assuming that you're asking me...), because I know absolutely nothing about SAT IIs. All I said was that you should take them if you feel confident. You're mentioning the IIc and Ic, but that goes in one ear, and out the next. I dont even know what these tests are, because I have only taken one in my entire life (bio - 10th grade - canceled score)...
anybody else?....

IIc has a really nice grading scale, miss 6 or so still make 800, while Ic is like SAT level. Easy easy math but miss 1 and get like 780. I would take 2c, they say its hard, but its easier than the practice questions on the website, I made 800 no sweat.

I was taking precalc. last year as well when I took math 2C. I'd say that if you're pretty decent at math, take Math IIC. It's easier to get a 800 than the IC.

I took the SAT I in November of my senior year (didn't apply early anywhere) and got a 1540. I doubt I'd have done as well as a junior, even though I didn't study. SAT IIs are probably better taken at the end of your junior year if you're taking tests in subjects you're currently enrolled in. Since you're in Pre-Calc, it's probably better for you to take the Math IIC as a junior.

I'm planning on taking my writing SAT II at the end of this year and History and BIO at the begining of next year, is that cool? or will that not work?
