Hey how much do APs count at Ivy League colleges? I took 2 APs this year, and scored 4s in both. I am taking 4 more next year (my senior year). Does this disqualify me from getting in to Yale?

Geez I hope not. I only have one AP, and I'm applying early to Yale. I suppose it depends on your school also (mine doesn't have AP courses) but I don't think not having any would disqualify you, and plus, your scores are great.

The only way a small number of AP classes will hurt you (or should I say not help as much) would be if your school offers, say, 25 AP classes and you only take 3. Yale will just want to see that you're challenging yourself. So, if your school has about 10-15 AP classes, and you're taking 6, that should be great.
