I am starting to feel a lot less confident in my SAT scores after looking at all the smart people on here. I got a 780 math which I'm fine with and a 710 verbal which I'm not. I did practice books for math, but everyone essentially told me that I'd have to memorize thousands of vocabulary words to improve. I really do the worst on analagies, but honestly because I don't know the words. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Ben-
The fact that you got a 710 shows you've got the potential to do even better. It doesn't take thousands of words. Try Princeton Review's hit parade. I wish you lived closer- I'd give you my flashcards
. Just learn those, practice recognizing the relationships between words, and with a little bit of work, it should go right up.
