I started reviewing the reading section in Cracking the ACT, and I was curious as to whether or not you found it useful, or somemwhat useless. Comments will be appreciated.

I used cracking the ACT, and I actually thought it was somewhat useless for reading. I used none of their techniques (the whole underline key words thing) and got a 36 on the reading section. I'd suggest you just use practice tests to try to up your score... it's all about just getting used to the way the articles are written.

It's a very helpful book...try the reading techniques and see how they work for you. If they do, use 'em. If they don't, don't. :-) Seriously, though, only way to know is to try them yourself.
