I'm pretty sure you can.
If you want 10 Real SATs, here's the site:

As Incognito said, you can order the newest book from CB. However, I do not think you can order the individual test via download. There are a few tests that are available from 2001 and from MAy 2002.
I am surprised that CB has NOT decided to sell the test via encrypted Acrobat files. It would be easy money for them and easier for us.
On the same subject, I have not seen ANY sites that offers a similar service. Too bad we cannot access any of the testprep sites from India. Those guys know how to get the information

lol
Erm... wouldn't encrypted Acrobat files be too easy to exploit? I mean, those of us who are desperate enough to want real SATs might be desperate enough to pay someone smart enough to break the encryptions...

Decrypting Acrobat files is not a straightforward process. There is Russian-based program that would "open" the files by removing the key. Then someone would have to use a program like Omnipage to attempt to convert to a Word file, for instance.
However, what would the purpose be? The tests are widely available for anywhere between 10 and 20 bucks in the book form. Someone could as easily scan the 10 tests and end up with a similar document and that would be a document fraught with terrible formatting.
Obviously, I am assuming that CB will NEVER release more tests than they did via the published books and the haphazard postings on their website of additional tests.
Speaking about old tests, wouldn't an industrious HS college advisor have been able to accumulate all the tests IF he kept all practice packages over the years? It sure did not happen in my HS where they have NONE.
I wonder why nobody ever created a repositary website with the SAT tests? There is plenty of dumb sites with essays. I guess it must be a cost/value issue.

Well, because I have been prepping for the test for so long, I have lots of pamphlets from 2000/2001. If I could get them to people here somehow, I would have no qualms w/doing so...

No, you can't get the most recent tests. As far as I know, anyway.

Bard, since you have the 3d Edition, can you let us know the dates of the 2 tests they added.
I am trying to find out if they are the May 2002 and October 2001 that are available online.
Thanks

Such a "repository" does exist. I know of this SAT tuition class in Bombay, or Mumbai as some might call it, that has the ENTIRE collection -- nearing 40 current tests(1994-2003) compiled using the Q&A service, ETS Books, and ETS bulletins; and also an equal number of older tests (1979-1983) that employ a slightly different format. For decades we Indians have been emigrating to the USA for the purpose of education, and, not surprisingly, the SATs are a big deal here.

Zulu ~
Do you have any contact info for the people who have these tests? If you could provide it, I'd really appreciate it. I remember getting some on this forum before, but I could never reach the people....

I looked through a friend's copy and I know that the Third Ed. also has a January '02 test copy. May '02 and Oct '01 are I am guessing the other ones...
