Before I begin, Im goin to apologize for posting this here. I am doin this because the other forums about admissions are not working for some reason.

My supervisor for my internship is goin to leave the country to study abroad soon. I haven't completed my work yet but I hope to get a college recommendation from her. Here's my concerns:

1. When colleges ask for optional recommendations, what are the criteria they seek?

2. Should I get the recommendation on the office's letterhead or are there forms for the optional college recommendations?
