Yeah, I am a CA resident, and I go to a ghetto public school. I am looking at UCB, Caltech, Stanford, or UCD. What are my chances?
SAT I: 1320 (690M, 630V) I could get my math up to 800 easily; in March I was just being stupid and going too fast (I missed 5). I can get my verbal up to 700.

You have a good chance at UCB and UCD. Stanford, shaky for everyone, so I won't say much about it. Caltech, probably not, because it's so competitive to get in since each class has less than 300 people. Besides, I don't think Caltech cares that much about diversity or extracurriculars. If you really want to go to a tech school, I think you have a better chance at MIT if you can get your SATs up.
