I know this sounds like a strange question, but I may have scheduling issues this October, so at what specific time of day (i.e., 8:00 am) is the PSAT administered? When is it over so you can get out and go on to bigger and better things? Thanks for your help.

Saturday morning (8 to 8:30 a.m.). Lasts about 3 hours.

I had mine during school.... i think it was friday
but the year before that i took it on a sat.

When you took it in school, was it around 8:00 am?

The PSAT test is 2 hours and 10 minutes and length -- it contains two 25-minute verbal sections and two 25-minute math sections, as well as a 30-minute writing sections. Testing normally begins between 8:00 and 8:30 AM on a Saturday and ends between 10:10 and 10:40 AM.

If your school pays for it then it should be on a Tuesday/Wednesday morning. There's a nationwide test date for everyone and I think the Saturday is the makeup date for juniors (so they don't miss a chance to qualify for NMS I guess.) But anyway, for us the test was on a Tuesday I believe in mid-October. It's done from about 8 30 - 10 30/11 (it might vary based on your school.) It is probably fairly similar for everyone though.

Thanks for your help. I'm homeschooled and I'll be taking an early afternoon class at the community college which meets on Wednesdays (i.e., October 13th), but it sounds like I'll go ahead and register for the PSAT with my local public high school.

Yeah. We did it at school on a...Tuesday? Monday? It was during the week. At 8:30AM.
