My friend told me today that if you re-take the SAT I and improve by over 150 points, the College Board puts you on a list and gives you a call to see if you cheated or not.
Is this true?!

I seriously doubt it. It's very possible (with a lot of prepping) to improve by over 150 points. I think it's just a rumor.

I believe "red flagging," as it is known, happens if you improve by 350 points, not 150. But if you didn't cheat, you have nothing to worry about.

Its 350 by each subject, too. A 350 increase combined in verbal and math wont warrant an investigation, but a 350 increase on both, will.

Haha good. I was worried some of my test prep students were going to get calls because they had 300+ increases, but that was overall, not on each section.
