i was just unlucky in the writing. the 1st time i didnt even know the format and the second i was soooooooooooo sick, but had to take it. I got like 11 on the essay, so obviously the mc must have sucked...
jus wanted to know, will the high verbal outshine the writing score? and my essays were pretty well written.

retake the writing test.
colleges will think u can't write, but do well with multiple choice.
if u have those scores, but a really strong essay they'll think someone else wrote it.

Unicorn --
oops...*lots of laughter*...I didnt see your Thursday, March 13, 2003 - 04:35 am post there. I just read the 1st post and responded. The SAT II writing is very important. It is so important, in fact, that they're even making the SAT I more like the writing test by adding an essay. So of course, the "adcoms" (whatever that means -- im guessing you meant the admissions people) wont like it. But its not the end of the world. The look at LOTS of things other than the SAT II scores. I really dont think that a strong verbal will "outshine" your writing score, because these so-called "adcoms" know that the two tests test very different things. Thats just what i THINK.
