I've been in college for a couple years, and I want to transfer to a private college, possibly a top LAC on the east coast. I took the SAT's three times in high school, and my highest score was a 1280. I never studied for the thing at all; I think with some studying I can surely raise my score to 1400 or even more. Is it a good idea for me to retake it, even though I've been out of high school for a couple years and have already taken it three times?
