HUGE difference. 3.82 is much more aesthetically pleasing than 3.79. There's just something about the 8 that makes it worth striving for.

I say no. Do you picture colleges caring about "aesthetic" issues of your GPA or what you're REALLY made of? I think they'd rather see you take hard classes and get the GPA that's 0.02 or 0.03 less than if you took easier classes and got the GPA that's more pleasing in an "aesthetic" sense. So long as you really put you best effort into your work, worrying about issues like this is really not worth it. Of course a higher GPA always looks better than a lower one, but remember that your high school experience and growth in learning is not just found in the numbers... especially if they are merely 0.02 or 0.03 apart from what "looks better." Since you keep bumping the topic, it appears to bother you... I'd say it's just a trifling issue that you don't need to worry about. Instead, just do the best you can with all your work.

thnx tenbelow. well the reaosn i keep bumping the issue is that i truly beleive my teacher wrongfully gave me a B and that would make a .02/,03 difference.
