I predicted
U.S History - mid to high 700s
Writing- low to mid 600s
I got:

I may or may not retake, but I am pleasantly suprised.
| By Sulskman (Sulskman) on Thursday, June 17, 2004 - 08:34 pm: Edit |
Wait until you get your writing subscores to decide if re-take is needed. If your essay was lower, re-take b/c learning how to do an essay for this exam is easy. MC on writing is difficult. Don't retake US b/c then, well, that's being an Ass and colleges will know.

Well I actually thought I would have gotten around 1300+.
Thought I had done really well for the math of SAT I.
And verbal, I thought I did awful.
Prediction

Math-660
Verbal-560
I have lots of time to improve right?
Rising Sophmore. What's the best way to study vocab? And what's the best book for the SAT II Wring?

Does taking the SAT like 5 or more times really make colleges think you are a loser?
(I naturally progressed each time)

I was way off on two and pretty acurate one.
Predictions:
1. 600 max on writing because of MCs. Got a 760 instead.
2. 800 on chem. 730 instead. dude, I don't know what happened. I felt so confident on the test it wasn't even funny. I did well on BArron's and pr tests too.
3. 740 iic pretty acurate. Will probably retake.

I predicted anywhere from 650-800 (I was trying not to get my hopes up) on each test.

Not perfect, but not bad at all.
| By Jprencipe (Jprencipe) on Friday, June 18, 2004 - 07:00 am: Edit |
My predictions were decent.
When I took the Physics, I thought I would get in the high 700's, but I ended up getting an 800, which was an extremely pleasant surprise.
I knew I got an 800 on the Math IIC right after I finished twenty minutes early and then double checked all of the hard questions.

Before the SAT II writing test, I was thinking something like 760-780 (I got a 74 on PSAT writing, and don't like the essay prompts). After the test, I figured I got something like a 720-740, and was afraid I'd get below a 700 and have to retake.
Somehow, I ended up with an 800. I'm really curious as to whether they liked my essay (which I thought was a load of hoaky crap), or I just did really well on the MC (which I would believe, I'm good with grammar, but make a lot of stupid mistakes).
