I just got 630 on writing and 740 on chem......
I was planning to do early decision...
but i have to take SAT1 in october....
is it possible that i can retake writing in november and still apply early???
my counselor said the score will not get there in time...... help..................

YES, but check with the school you're planning on applying to. I'm pretty sure most schools allow you two chances to take SATs/SATIIs for Early Decision/EA.
Also, if you take the November one, check with the school to see if they want rush-reporting or something like that.

Yes you can...and you don't even have to do the "rush" thing...Go to the school's website and see.

I know! I have the exact same problem of conflicting SAT 1/ SAT 2 dates. Of course, the College Board could solve this problem by putting out another test in the FOUR MONTHS between June and October, but nooooo....
