Hey guys I was wondering how the Yamaha YCL-SEV and the Buffet R-13 compare to each other. I know the buffet is the most common used one for professional use but I was wondering, how is the tone quality and range in the yamaha? Does it become really thin and squeeky in the high register? Well any response would be greatly appreciated thank you.

buffer would kick the YAmaha's ass. The sound quality on the buffet (in my opinion and my clarinet teachers) is a lot better than the YAmahas. Im not too sure about the high register.. but i just know the Buffet owns.thats what i have at least.
