I'm planning on taking the SAT II biology in either October or November. For any of you guys who took the SAT II biology test before, or even yesterday, which prep books would you recommend.
I've never really bought any prep books and I have no idea what brand to get. I've read from other posts that Barron's overprepares you, so I don't think I'll get that one.
And if you are wondering why I'm on so late, its because my summer has started. yep, waking up at 1 and sleeping at 4 for me.

Maybe we should wait until you get your scores back to decide if your book was worth it.

I used Sparknotes and Princeton Review - The latter is better. The only bad thing about the Bio test is that you're guaranteed to come across something you don't know- either cause u never learned it or it's not in a review book.

Yes, I too would like to know what a good review book for SAT II bio is. I also am taking AP Bio this fall, any recommendations for AP Bio review books?

Cliff's AP Biology book is amazing... buy it, and read it through a few times.

I'm surprised anyone is even recommending buying prep books. Don't use 'em! Use Cliffs for the information, and use Sparknotes online for free for a practice test.

I would say Princeton is the best, but not enough.
they have a lot of good stuff and they summarize stuff easily
they pic out stuff that are on the SATII very well.
I read this book the day before SATII and a lot were actually on the test.
But you gotta study it with Kaplan because it doesn't seem to be enough.
Kaplan is harder than the actual test though. The practice tests are very hard.
Princeton review's practice tests are very similar to the real ones.
Also, Bio SATII is overrated. I was very scared before I took the test, but it really isn't that hard.

I used REA (the rainbow book). It was cheap, but i felt well prepared.
