Say I answered 80-85 percent of the questions, and ommitted 15-20 percent of the questions. and lets say i get 25-40 percent of the questions answered wrong, what will my score look like?

i dont remember how many but i'm just guessing

well, there are 60 math questions, and 78? verbal, so if you omit, lets say the worst, 20%, and get about 30% wrong, in math you will get around: 450 to 550, and in verbal, you will get around a 500 to 550.

i am guessing, but its kinda close to what you say?

lol ok. thanks thats what i wanted to know, i know it wont be as high as most poeple on here but i was just wondering. my goal is 1100-1200

By Pezza0 (Pezza0) on Sunday, June 06, 2004 - 02:12 am: Edit

yea id say with your scenario youd prolly get close to a 1000-

my scores is higher than i would expect from myself and heres the breakdown ( im not bragging, this is just my strong point)

i got all the math right!! but for verbal what i do is start at the begging and do all the ones im sure about (they get progressivly harder) then when you hit ones you are unsure of, it's decision time - the farther you make it before 'decision time' the better your score will be.... i usually hit with like 3 analogies to go and i leave em all blank - scores remain around 690 for verbal.

oh and on math - i wouldnt guess because from experience, guesses are ALWAYS wrong - even if you could somehwo choose all 5 answers they would ALL be wrong, thats just how impossible guessign is on the math part.

Ok, I have a chart with raw scores and corresponding scores. If you answered %80 of the questions and got %75 of the ones you answered correct, math would be about a 540 and verbal would be about a 540. So combined, probably between 1000 and 1100
