So here's the story: I only took the Math IIC today and omitted 7, by looking at the boards so far I'm guessing I missed at least 2. I've heard the curve might be generous, but who knows how generous. Let's say I got between a 750 and 780 on the test and I'm aiming for an 800. I've got plenty more opportunities to take the test. I'm tempted to cancel but I also would like to see my scores (the normal dilemma). How bad would a 750-780 followed by an 800 look on a college app? Do they really care about retaking SAT II's?? Also, is there any chance the curve could be so generous as to allow me an 800?

Cancelling from a 750-780 cause you want an 800..what a dilemma.

WOW... You really have one heck of a decision to make. LOL WHY CANCEL? That's a great score. Screw the 800, you can't always be perfect. 750-780 sure sounds good to me!

OH my God you got a 780 and are stressing over it not being good enough??? Get a life!

haha last year I would have told you to cancel it - hey I did it. But don't, seriously, that is all you need to be pooled in with everyone else. SATs and SAT IIs are used more as a disqualifier than a qualifier and a 750+ is the same thing as an 800. Seriously, don't waste your time. You might not agree now but some day you will.
