Hey,

Are Kaplan's practice tests accurate and useful? I just took practice test 2 and I found a lot of what I thought was irrelevant information(like what is a Faraday). Also, I get above 750 on all barrons practice tests but I do worse on Kaplans, and I thought barrons was supposed to be harder?!

What is up with the Kaplan's Practice tests? Are they any good or Is it just Me ?

The Kaplan tests a lot on specific
keywords found in THEIR review book. For example in one such chapter in the Kaplan book it talked about a three point diffusion rule or somethingrather.....and so in a practice test I took they asked what this was. When I told my teacher about the problem, s/he was baffled because there is nothing like that. And also Kaplan is very top heavy in electro chem and oxi/red. equations.

I took the Barron's test and consistently scoring 770+. Took the Pton Review (2 tests) both 800 but took Kaplan's and got 720-760. The review is supposed to be the most realistic so I am basing everything on that.

So are you saying that Kaplan has the mos relistic tests?

I find that Kaplan's tests focuses less on problem solving. So is it more accurate than barrons?
