i can't make up my mind which one to take E or M. are there major differences in the curves? which one is easier?

It all depends on your strength. I am way heavy on environmental science and ecology and so that's why I'm taking Ecology. I'm not sure about the curve though...

M is easier for me, the answers are more concrete (which molecule enters the mitochondria). E is more like "What might happen if the bird population decreased?" which requires a bit more subtle reasoning and involves more shades of gray. So if you feel confident with your molecular bio, you should definitely take M. Otherwise, take E, because those answers are more likely to be obtained from logic and not from knowledge.

I took M and left 6 blank. Got a 740. So I imagine you can get a handful wrong and still get 7+.

Has any previous SAT II bio test taker seen a really really funky or obscure lab question?

Mine had stuff on restriction enzymes, and I hadnt leanred anything about them, I think w/in the core questions (I took BioM). (June 2002) Actually, I still know nothing about them...hmmm....maybe I should go read up on them...
