I just got my May SAT II scores in the mail, and I was kind of unnerved to find that, although I had an 800 on the writing test, I got a raw score of 9 out 12 on the essay. Oy. I know this is a poor-little-rich-girl type situation, but should I be worried? How much do colleges care about the subscores? I like to think of writing as one of my strengths, so it was a mighty blow to the old self-esteem.
