My February 8 ACT score was only a 26, although I am a straight A high school junior taking the hardest classes possible. Is it possible for me to improve my score to about 33-35 during my senior year? I can take the ACT as many times as needed, but will not have much time for preparation. How likely is it that it is realistic to improve to such an extent, and what should I do to do so?
Thanks,
Jim

probably not. any score 31 and over is the 99th percentile in the nation. Its a long ways to go....

Jim, what was your breakdown od sub scores. If you take the time to prepare next time you take it you could probably improve it to a decent sub 30 score. Most people improve every time they take it. So if you take it a couple more times b4 your senior year, I'm sure you could get it up

Well, I don't know about a 35, but a 33 for sure with hard work. I made a 27 my first time (junior year), but I studied like crazy with Kaplan's and got it up eventually. Focus on something you know you're weak in -- it was math and science for me -- and just take tons of practice tests. Good luck, and yes it can be done.

Without a doubt, you can get a 36. Just take practice tests until you consistently score perfectly.
