I just got my score back -- 28. I tied for 1st with some other guy (was this in the whole midwest or what? I live in WI) but got 2nd because of a technicality to settle the tie-breaker. My school team got second behind Minatonka (sp), some school in Minnesota. I am in 1st year physics, not AP physics, by the way (so division 2 or something like that).
How prestigious is this? I'll probably mention it on my applications, but of what value/prestige is this score?

It's fairly prestigious, but I'm pretty sure it's not the whole midwest since our schools team score were 33,32,31, and 30.

I notice you guys are from Whitefish Bay... I'm from Libertyville, we compete with you guys often in Science Bowl.

correction: I guess I'm division 1. I don't see how that works, though; it doesn't seem to be based on size, because a high school nearby that is larger than mine is Division 2. Weird.
Congrats on your 1st place D2 team prize for Libertyville, Athlonmj.

ya i got 28 but i'm in a competitive division and our school doesn't waste time on trivial topics like waves/optics/ and that history but i did reallly well on everything else (if i had only studied :-( )
