I'm thinking Emory, Wash U, Johns Hopkins, and Georgetown are on my list of schools who want kids scoring 1500+ (prob to raise their us news rank)
I would like to know some because I need some more "match" type schools

Generally, the larger the school the more important the SAT scores are since they don't have the time to carefully examine your essays and recs, so they base their decisions mostly based on test scores.

But the larger schools get more top notch SAT scores, so they have to put more emphasis on essays and EC's. Harvard likes high SAT scores, whereas Stanford doesn't put as much emphasis on them.
