If you know you can score well on an SAT II- close to 800, then is it worth it to take more than 3 even if colleges only require 3? Will they look at and consider favorably additional tests?

why not? it certainly can show your breadth of knowledge, and offset a bad score in a class. then again, in that same circumstance, getting a good sat 2 grade and having a bad class grade can just mean that you're a lazy person =p

there's no way that getting a near-800 on an SAT2 could possibly hurt you...go for it.
