I know that the math section seems to come a lot easier for a lot of people, but no matter how hard I try, I can barely break a 600 on the practice tests. However, my verbal is slightly better, not much, but slightly and it comes a lot easier to me. Are there any techniques or subjects that I should brush up on? I know that I get confused over the word problems really easily, like the ratios, or the unknown integer out of a certain set of integers. Can someone tell me how they improved their math skills? Thanks!

u seem to be getting many of the easy questions wrong. After u barely break 600 find what mistakes u made and don't make them again!! Also try Kaplans Math Workout

well, find the patterns and memorize them. it gets easier as time progresses. that's just for math classes in general, but for the SAT....hmmmm...i worked out all the problems and didn't have much of any trouble, i'd say just stay focused, work fast, understand what the questions are asking for, and check over your problems at least once.
got a 780 on the math...how i did it was i just worked out all the problems, no guessing.
