How are they scoring the New SAT?

I know it's a 2400 now apparently, but I also heard somewhere that they take whatever you score and put it on a 1600 scale (ie you get a 2400, but it shows up on college applications a 1600).

And how exactly are the essays going to be graded and how much of our score will they be?

umm, it's going to be about of 2400. reconverting it to the 1600 scale just asks for confusion.
