Hi guys,

im a junior and i only got 1 SAT and 1 SAT2 on file. I plan on retaking the Sat in june; i just took the writing and the american history exam. In history, i am confident that i got over 700, probably around 730-760. However Writing I am very worried about. I feel like my essay was pretty bad and i am very unsure about the multiple choice. Deep down i feel like i would have gotten somewhere around 590-650. Should I cancle?

If I cancle, I might take more SAT2s in October or November. Provided that the scores are rushed, will be make it in time for ED? What should I do?

I apologize in advance for saying this, but I find it very amusing that, in a post in which you ask whether you should cancel your Writing score, you misspell the word "cancel." A bit ironic, yes? ;)
(I, of course, mean this in a fond, teasing way, not a cruel, insulting way. Spelling mistakes happen to the best of us.)

I would not suggest canceling your scores because going into the fall, you will at least have one writing and history score in the bank. Also, you wont want to have to re-take the history exam next fall if you are confident that you got over a 700.

but the writing score is just way too low. i will surely retake, but will they look down at that?

Don't trust your feelings on these. I was absolutely sure after the ACT that I didn't get better than a 25/26 and I ended up getting a 32... So keep it.
