I predict the following have a good chance of being on the AP bio exam this year as essays:
Prokaryotic/Eukaryotic gene expression
There has not been an essay on this for a long time, and I don't think there ever was for eukaryotes. So know operons and all the eukaryotic stuff like transposons and enhancers and histones and 30 nm chromatin fibers etc.
Cell Respiration Lab
Again I don't think there's been a question on this lab recently.
