how does everyone feel?? 2 hours of writing essays!!! im goin to fall asleep!!

can we even study for this stupid tesT?? all i can think of doing is find ways to approach the essays and terms that they use on the MCs...

Simplyloved, I know exactly what you mean. Also, essays are not that bad, but three in a row? I don't know... why don't they let us just write one great essay... I feel I might end up with 3 mediocre ones. -_________- Whatever, we'll get through it and do the best we can.

like i can do well in class because it's class.. no pressure (in my opinion). but when it's an official test my nerves make me freak out and forget everything.

Anyway, a two hour written exam? Pah! I've got a 3hr closed-text A-level literature exam coming up, in addition to a 2.5hr German exam in written registers, on the same day! Needless to say i'm pissing myself. Anyway, good luck everybody with your tests.

4-5 paragraphs will usually suffice. Just make sure you can finish them all.

how will i separate each paragraph? intro...and conclusion i know...but how do you know when to end a paragraph and when to begin one...what should these paragraphs each discuss?

Well, I'm just saying, standardized tests don't phase me. I don't suddenly "lose it" when I see the test. And it's actually a three hour exam total, but the essay portion is two hours. MC is an hour.

My advice to everyone is to just calm down. You've been training for English for about 16 years of your life if you were born here. A day of stressing out isn't going to change much. Just calm down and get plenty of rest.

No, you cannot talk about the MC EVER and you cant talk about the essay questions until I think Wednesday.
