hey--

I wasn't sure of the way they scored AP US (obviously on a 5 pt composite, but what makes up each number?)

I am aiming for a 4/5

How many MC/how well do I have to do on the essays to get about a 4 or 5?

It is my understanding that a 5 is generally about 63%, and each subsequent score is about 10% below the next highest. The precise numbers, of course, vary year to year.

In case you don't know the specifics, MC is half, FR is half, DBQ is 45% of FR, other two essays are equal in weight.
