Why would you use the Washer Method for part B of question 2?

Washer method is generally easier to use on many graphs, except some you would have to use it 2 times, then you should use shell. I like just using washer all the time...

I meant as oppose to disk method... How do you know when to use washer and when to use disks? i dont see any washers that form when you rotate it about the x axis
